Emmerdale: Sarah catches Mack and Chloe together

Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) will have some serious explaining to do in Emmerdale next week when Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) catches them in an embrace.
Chloe, as viewers know, welcomed baby boy Reuben a number of weeks ago, on the very same day that Mackenzie, the child’s father, tied the knot with love of his life Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins).
Mack briefly met his son, with an unsuspecting Charity introducing him to Reuben just before they set off on honeymoon, which led to him breaking down in secret, wanting nothing more than to be a dad to his little boy.
Chloe, meanwhile, has struggled with becoming a mum, and next week, she opens up to Mack shortly after his comeback.
The above clip, taken from Wednesday’s (May 3) edition of the ITV soap, sees Mackenzie stop by, hoping to find out how Chloe has been getting on with Reuben.
Chloe is cold at first, referring to him as a ‘sperm donor’, which evidently devastates Mack, who has made it quite clear that he wants to support her in whatever way he can.
Chloe, seeing that he’s being genuine, opens up, revealing that she’s lonely and, despite what she’s told her loved ones, she is struggling more than she’s letting on.
Mack pulls her in for a hug, with neither aware that Sarah has entered the house, horrified by the sight of the two of them together.
What will Mackenzie and Chloe have to say for themselves?
That remains to be seen, but there’s more heartbreak to come for the new parents, with Reuben rushed to hospital in the coming episodes.
