In The Karate Kid, other characters Daniel-San had to deal with were Johnny Lawrence's friends. This is what the Cobra Kai gang looks like today. In the hit 1984 movie The Karate Kid we meet Daniel Larusso, a young man who moves to Los Angeles. In this place, his life changes completely when he meets Mr. Miyagi who teaches him karate and confronts the boys who trained in the Cobra Kai dojo, including Johnny Lawrence and his friends.
During the film, Daniel Larusso's enemy, Johnny Lawrence, along with his gang, give the protagonist of the story a hard time. Lawrence's gang consisted of Tommy, Bobby Brown, Jimmy and Dutch, remember them? Next, we tell you what has become of them. Tommy was one of Johnny Lawrence's friends, who was undoubtedly one of the most sarcastic of the Cobra Kai gang. This character was played by actor Rob Garrison who unfortunately died in September 2019 from liver and kidney complications. Tommy's character appeared in both seasons of Cobra Kai, but his character died of cancer.
Bobby Brown
This character was played by actor Ron Thomas, who is the second best student in the Cobra Kai dojo, although he is one of the least problematic of the gang since he always looked for ways to avoid fights and problems with Daniel Larusso. The actor Ron Thomas, in addition to participating in the first and second parts of the Karate Kid, also appears in the Cobra Kai series, although he is now a pastor of a church.
Jimmy
Tony O'Dell is the actor who gave life to the character of Jimmy, one of the members of the Cobra Kai gang. Undoubtedly, he was one of Johnny Lawrence's friends who did not agree with the teachings of the sensei of the dojo he attended, John Kreese. In the series that follows some of the characters that participated in The Karate Kid, Cobra Kai, Jimmy also appears, who despite the years, still mistrusts his former teacher.
Dutch
Dutch or The Dutchman was one of Johnny Lawrence's best friends and who was the right hand of the gang leader. In addition, Dutch was also one of those who annoyed Daniel Larusso the most. Although most of the gang members appear in the Cobra Kai series, Dutch is the only one who has not made an appearance, however, Johnny, Tommy and Jimmy have talked in some chapters that The Dutchman is in jail serving a 5 year sentence.
