Image courtesy Netflix/Karolina Grabowska It seems fans aren’t the only ones hoping for a fourth film in the 365 Days franchise, as the franchise’s leading man Michele Morrone seems quite keen on the prospect of returning as Massimo Torricelli.

Days after the release of the third film in the franchise, The Next 365 Days, Morrone has taken to Instagram with a cryptic post that seems to tease the possibility of a fourth film — and most importantly, his interest in reprising his role in the project. “The end of something is always a little bit sad.. but.. who knows….” Morrone commented in a post accompanied by a pair of images of his character from the films. The post quickly sparked a lot of speculation among his followers who see the post as a major hint that 365 Days 4 could be happening and it’s easy to understand why.

“Well we need a part 4.. can’t just leave it like that!!!!” commented one follower referencing the open-ended nature of the third film which veered off course from the path of the books. “I mean.. It’s pretty obvious there is going to be a fourth movie,” interpreted another follower who was among the masses convinced that the post was designed to tease another film in the franchise. Is 365 Days 4 happening? At this time, Netflix has not announced plans for a fourth film in its 365 Days franchise; however, the odds of a fourth film happening are looking incredibly strong.

Not only has the franchise’s star Michele Morrone personally teased the possibility of returning as Massimo Torricelli for 365 Days 4, but the author behind the books that inspired the series has expressed interest in furthering the franchise as well. In fact, author Blanka Lipinska already has an idea of where to take the story next. Much like the viewers who have fallen in love with Morrone and his character, Lipinska revealed to Today that she’s planning to revisit the story told across the first three books from Massimo’s point of view.

“This is the story from the beginning. But this time from the perspective of Massimo,” she teased. It’s possible the revisiting of Massimo’s story might unfold in a fourth film in the franchise without fans having to wait for the book to release. Several franchises have famously pushed ahead without source materials including Netflix film franchises as The Kissing Booth 3 was released before the final book in the book series the films were based upon.

Given how big of a hit the films have been from a global viewership perspective and the interest from those involved both behind and in front of the camera to continue the story, we’ll be shocked if Netflix doesn’t hand out an order for a fourth film.
