Its no surprise I'm a big fan of Cobra Kai tv show because of the amount of dream trailers I made for the franchise. For my Cobra Kai Season 6 trailer 3 I wanted to make the highlight Dre Parker, since last time the main attraction for trailer 1 was him in the thumbnail yet there isn't much clips of him in the trailer. Fortunately there are some more clips from Jaden Smith's film LIFE IN A YEAR I haven't used. For example the beginning of Dre Parker in the car seeing Johnny and Daniel in Eagle Fang's van. This was an incredible fresh clip of our main characters, perhaps the only one so I capitalized on it by making it the highlight of the beginning. I was worried at first since there are not a lot of fresh clips available for the main cast.
Good thing my video editor has the ability to transform clips by changing the background so I was able to use clips from Season 4 and 5 from the main characters. For example John Kreese part I put the background that makes it look like he is in the Cobra Kai dojo. And then Terry Silver in the prison talking to Daniel was the same idea. One good thing is that Peyton List has a new film called SCHOOL SPIRITS which help add fresh clips. Other than than the other fresh clips are from AWAY film for our very own Julie Pearce, it was not much but it was enough to bring her presence to the trailer since there is a high chance she will appear in season 6 because of her existence in the Miyagi verse.
I did a voice over "Karate fans we are 1 week away for the Seikai Taikai world karate tournament" to make Dre Parker have a scene of learning about it in his car. Overall I was happy with the result, I think the music from Tomb Raider trailer was perfect.
