Gogglebox cast reach for their sick buckets over 'most disgusting scene on British TV' - Mirror Online

As they watched Joe Swash and Dean Gaffney compete in I'm A Celeb's "worst ever trial," the Gogglebox cast was left heaving and requesting sick buckets.

Before entering the South African jungle earlier this week, the EastEnders stars had to successfully pass a beverages trial in front of hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly. To win gifts for their fellow campers, the duo had to consume a series of terrible beverages.

As reported by The Mirror, everything from mixed maggots to cow vagina and animal testicles were on offer to them. Both of them are notorious for their reactions at trials, with Dean's live trial from his series being especially well-known.

Viewers at home were also left feeling like they needed to throw up as they watched the horrible drinking challenge take place, in which Joe and Dean downed cow's vagina to mixed maggots.

"Nooooo that's the worse drinking trial #imaCeleb," one wrote, as another added: " #ImACeleb Joe Swash & Dean Gaffney, that's what trials are supposed to be like...awful & hilarious in equal measure." "God I feel like throwing up again after watching that AGAIN," another added. A third said: "I nearly vomited watching Dean and Joe struggle through that trial #ImACeleb.

The Gogglebox stars couldn't believe what they were seeing

"Vomit legit just came up my neck watching that," someone else shared. However, some viewers loved it - and thought it was great entertainment.

"Last 5-6 years of #ImACeleb have been sooooooo dead. This year is top tier tv, dean gaffney and Joe Swash have had me in TEARS on that trial," as another wrote: "Putting Joe & Dean together for this drinking trial is brilliant, comedy TV gold." Someone else complained: "People these days are soooooo annoying and will complain about anything. That was TV gold. Maybe the most disgusting scene ever on TV, but gold nonetheless."

It comes after Dean recently opened up about his iconic performance in a previous live trial.

"That live trial became folklore. Every year it gets wheeled out as one of the best moments, so even if I want to forget it I can’t! People still stop me in the street and chat to me about the Trial. And whenever I am having a bad day, I put the Trial on and it makes me feel better. My pain is everyone else’s gain!" he quipped ahead of his stint on the show.
